🎂Birthday reflections and my word of the year for 2026

Hey Reader,

Another year, another trip around the sun. This year I turned 44, and I'm noticing more creaks and cracks as I move. I realize I'm not really all that old, but I'm probably near the mid-point of my expected lifespan, and that gives food for thought.

I don't always have a word or focus for the year, and it was several days into the new year before I found one that resonated with me.

DELIGHT is the word that I'm feeling called to focus on. I want to truly enjoy, savor, and pause to notice what fills me with delight, and really be IN THE MOMENTS.

I've spent too much of my life rushing around trying to accomplish goals and projects. While productivity is great, and it's important to get things done, I tend to lose sight of my "why" unless I make a deliberate effort to stop and notice.

What are you focusing on for 2026?

Jenn Warren
